Mini analysis Black Ops: Good, but not enough
In a visit to London I brought under his arm a Call of Duty: Black Ops surprised by the good sales of the game even though his parents, Infinity Ward, have abandoned the project altogether. It appeared that Treyarch, who had already made some Call of Duty of lower quality than those of Infinity Ward, had taken over the project and had borne a larger budget Call of Duty top. The truth, unfortunately, is another.
The single player mode has gotten what he wanted, to be more spectacular than Modern Warfare 2, but lacks a script more interesting, more exciting, epic moments, credibility and pace. The story does not get to the bitumen to Modern Warfare 2. I certainly smelled me and toast in the final minute and confirmed what I smelled. In short, it is varied, there are good salads shots, but although technically very great height bay, would not put it ahead of Modern Warfare 2, which for now is still the best.
The way to kill zombies is unlocked at the end is funny, but not much I was hooked.
Multiplayer is another story, the news is pretty good, as the contract system, the option to perform jumps and bring us down while shooting and the new maps, which I found quite bright. The new weapons are also a good incentive to engage a great time, too bad my connection to Xbox Live Gold finish to expire ... although almost better, because otherwise I will burn based console Black Ops and FIFA 11 ...
Treyarch has done better work than I expected, but still I have to say that the result is not greater than MW2. It seems to have taken advantage of the work done by Infinity Ward to get even better results. The competition, with the new Medal of Honor and others at the head, still not putting it too hard ...
