Another scam over Game Center

Posted by on Blu-ray , Fallout , PS3 , Sony , video games

I think I'm going to go to Gamestop because the center are a little Mafia Game.

As you know, I bought the PS3 Slim with the game Fallout 3 and WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 for 319 euros. It also brought the offer in theory a remote for the blu-ray Ardistel brand, but they said it was exhausted and showed me how the computer came the offer and without the mini-blu-ray control. Anyway, I left without him.

Who would've given the old PS3 also I gave the blu-ray control officer had, so I went to buy another and my surprise was great when I have offered not only the official control, but the mini- supposedly exhausted command Ardistel brand , which is 10 euros.

I have not called because I bought what I bought knowing what they buy and at what price, but what can I say, I was sitting wrong. Perhaps only had a limited number of mini-controls for the offer, but to me that as a customer I do not care ...

In the end I decided to buy an official Sony controller, now in bluetooth USB slot and requires no mini-command as that of Ardistel, but I was in bad taste. It took me 25 eurazos I have left the soul.

I can not with Michael Patcher

I can not go to Michael Patcher. Rappelling is the video game, hits as well as our most famous magician. Wedbush Morgan analyst has been so hot dog saying that PS3 will exceed the installed base of Xbox 360 consoles in 2015 . There is nothing I could have said 2014 or 2016, but you must like round numbers. What's more, in its infinite wisdom says that in 2011 the machines from Sony and Microsoft are tied for market share. As evidence only brings great wisdom, which is sufficient guarantee (something like the "seal of quality" of Nintendo), and that says it will be thanks (catch each coming curves) to blu-ray. Fixed!

Go movie! Has lacked only in 2019 that the machines will rise up against humans and then emerge a hero: John Connor! :-)

Well, stupid is that nonsense, as they said in Forrest Gump, but more fool is the fool who follows the fool, as my mother.

Hirai is not of this world

The head of Sony Computer Entertainment, Kaz Hirai, not of this world. Someone who drop these pearls must be from another planet:

Pearl 1: Judging the success of PS3 considering only the 3 years at the market is "premature." "For other companies that have a lifecycle of five years is easier to judge the performance after two years." He said the PS3 life cycle is 10 years. (Seen on Eurogamer ).

* Anyone else think this?

Pearl 2: "It's hard to talk about Nintendo because we do not see your console as a competitor. They are in a different world and we operate in ours. " (Seen again Eurogamer ).

Kaz, a proud resident of Ganymede

* Operates on Earth Nintendo and Sony, on Ganymede. To my knowledge, they are both consoles and both point to the casual and hardcore audience. Or not?

Pearl 3: "The only option was to use the Sony Blu-Ray. From the standpoint of the players had no other choice. Why? For disk capacity. " (Seen in Meristation ).

* I know no one to tell me he bought the PS3 for the blu-ray. I get the impression that we have shoehorned. Where there is a good hard drive ...

Pearl 4: About the price of PSP Go. "The value that European users will get good and do not think they are so directed by issues like the price as in other markets." (Come back to see Meristation ).

* As you know, the PSP Go will cost 250 euros, much more expensive than in the U.S., which cost $ 250. By contrast, now, we would pay $ 351, or 100 more than in the United States. A new joke.

The HD DVD goes to a better life

It was the chronicle of a death foretold. A few weeks ago someone from Microsoft put us on track to recognize that they considered the option of adopting the blu-ray instead of HD-DVD for Xbox 360. After several hard hits, the last straw was the decision of the U.S. retail chain Wal-Mart to remove the HD-DVD movies on their shelves. I pray one minute of silence for the HD system.

Finally comes the PSP GPS

Posted by on Blu-ray , movies games , PSP , Sony , video games

Since Sony is very little stretch, a year ago I decided to buy the PSP. She was ordered to a good friend who brought me the USA, where it costs the same as here but in dollars (ie much cheaper). I bought it with some enthusiasm, but I spent as many other pots: finally did not use only. I held a little without selling it for the GPS issue, but I finally got rid of it. Now at last comes the GPS, but I have one. Maybe the GPS is a little late because they are at a great price and with touch screen, which is essential in my opinion in these devices.

Changing a bit of pace, yesterday I bought a tribute and Blu-ray control of the PS3. With the latest update and movies are Divx and I watch more movies than ever. The new command has not taken its toll and keeps you on the Sixaxis throughout the film. Basically you used to operate anything but games. It really is not necessary apparatus, but hey, sometimes you must be a whim, right?

Eye to Mylo Sony has introduced at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas.

¿HD-DVD or Blu-ray?

Posted by on Blu-ray , PS3 , videogame , Xbox 360

The war of HD-DVD and Blu-ray is not just a struggle between different high definition formats, but a replay of the fight between Sony and Microsoft, including Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (PS3). The latter is fitted with a blu-ray player set to about 600 euros, while Microsoft's console the external USB offers the price of 199 euros.

The difference between the different formats is that the conventional DVD stores up to 4.7 Gb of data and plays video at 576p, while new formats offer a definition at 1080p. The HD-DVD increases its capacity to 15 GB (double if double sided) and blu-ray, at 25 Gb (50 Gb if double sided). It seems that the blu-ray is the most logical option, but not so much taking into account the prices of both HD-DVD formats because it is significantly cheaper.

DVD discs are physically the same as those of HD-DVD or Blu-ray, the difference is in the way information is stored and the type of laser that reads.

Who will win this fight? Neither I nor anyone has the answer at this time, but you can anticipate some clues. No doubt, firstly, that the PS3 is a great Trojan horse to introduce into our homes the blu-ray. This format, which has been Sony developer, also has strong support in the industry of leisure and entertainment, but the HD-DVD offers similar quality reproduction at much lower price. On March 1 will be on the street with a catalog of over 100 films produced by major studios like Universal, HBO, Paramount Pictures, StudioCanal, New Line Entertainment and Warner Bros. For now, the fight everyone is very close.

If you do not have HDTV and 4.7 Gb DVD storage is sufficient for you, new formats still do not agree. If you want to get blu-ray, it's smart to buy the PS3 even when not going to use to play. On the other hand if you already have the Xbox 360, HD-DVD player is the best for you. If you like me and you connect it to a good monitor will not have a full HD experience, but probably satisfy you fully.

Incidentally, the other day I read that both the former are trying to seduce without lights or stenographers to the porn industry, which was key when he were to win on Beta VHS some years ago.

- What do you think? What format will imporner? Why? .
