Mini Black Ops analysis: Good, but not enough
In a visit to London I have brought under his arm a Call of Duty: Black Ops surprised by the good sales of the game despite his parents, Infinity Ward, have abandoned the project altogether. It appeared that Treyarch, who had already made some Call of Duty of lower quality than those of Infinity Ward, had taken over the project and had given birth to a larger budget Call of Duty top. The truth, unfortunately, is another.
The single player mode has gotten what he wanted, to be more spectacular than Modern Warfare 2, but lacks a script more interesting, more exciting, epic moments, credibility and timing. The story does not come up to the bitumen to Modern Warfare 2. I certainly and I smelled the toast in the final minute and confirmed what I smelled. Well, that is varied, there are good salads shots, but although technically very great height bay, would not put it ahead of Modern Warfare 2, which currently remains the best.
The way to kill zombies is unlocked at the end is funny, but not much I was hooked.
Multiplayer is another story, the developments are pretty good, as the contract system, the option to perform jumps and push us into the ground while shooting and the new maps, which I found quite bright. New weapons are also a good incentive to snag a great time, sorry that my connection to Xbox Live Gold finish expire ... but almost better, because otherwise I'll burn the console-based Black Ops and FIFA 11 ...
Treyarch has done better work than I expected, but still I say the result is not more than MW2. Seems to have taken advantage of work done by Infinity Ward to get even better results. Competition, with the new Medal of Honor, among others, the head still wear it too hard ...
