Killzone 3 and Crysis 2, now in its nearest torrent

I realize that posting this is counterproductive, it's like to publicize Jimmy Jump, but that goes without saying. It has leaked a version of Crysis 2 (not final) that contains the full single-player campaign, the publisher and the multiplayer one month before it goes on sale. And it seems to contain the master key to activate the game ...

The response to a leak, let's face it, must come from within was as follows: "Both Crytek and EA are deeply disappointed by the news. We asked our fans to support the game and the development team waiting and buying the final, optimized version of the game on 22 March. "

Well, my message is up the next: "Winners do not use drugs or use versions of Jack Sparrow." Come on, that the PC game if you wait a bit you will get dirt cheap and if a game is worth 30 euros, you have to pay.

And the same seems to have happened with Killzone 3 in what appears to be the first major leak of PlayStation 3 from a group of hackers discovered codes and let the PS3 console totally exposed to anyone with the necessary knowledge could program in it (or install Linux). Apparently the leaked version is European - Vandal.net information - and could only run on pirated PlayStation 3.

In short, a disaster that comes amid the controversy over the law Sinde ...

Toys 'R' Us and its own price

This weekend I was in San Juan beach with friends and we near the department stores of Toys 'R' Us to take a look at their products.

We all know that is not a department store specializing in games, but have a section dedicated to it (quite low by the way). It just has a variety of games on Xbox360 or PS3, however there are more games and even Wii or NDS, PS2, Game Cube or Xbox.

My surprise was finding two games, NBA Live 2003 and 2004 , for Xbox and GameCube, respectively, at the same price they had on the day of its release for over 7 years.

We all know that Toys 'R' Us makes your business with toys and will not compete in the market for video games with other retailers like Game or Gamestop (specialists in video games), but could catch up to other centers such as Media Markt, Carrefour ... who are slowly becoming hollow, and are considered as an alternative to the gamers when buying a video game.

I leave you with photos of the two games, when I saw him I did not believe, or have we gone mad, or is being revalued the classic NBA Live ...

We've gone crazy 2

Dante's Inferno vs God of War III

Today I was playing the demo of Dante's Inferno . For those who may know what is an action game in the purest style God of War . Such is the resemblance that many media call it a technically be a copy modeled on moves, combos, creatures, settings ...

Dante's Inferno is based on the first part of The Divine Comedy of Dante Alighieri. The player controls Dante, a veteran of the Third Crusade trying to reach his beloved Beatrice and free his soul from Lucifer. His search leads Dante to deal with monstrous creatures through the nine circles of hell in order to save Beatrice, also facing their own sins and crimes of war.

Honestly my opinion about this game is pretty good, I amazed me the demo, the game is technically exquisite creatures with some scenarios and graphically very good, with very crude animations and gameplay very affordable and easy to control. Another of the strengths I see in this Dante's Inferno is that is cross platform and can enjoy both boxers as sonyers.

The game was developed by Visceral Games within the Electronic Arts studios (creators include the successful Dead Space ) and will go on sale February 12 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PSP. A month later, specifically on March 16, will be released the highly anticipated God of War 3 PlayStation 3 exclusive and truly believe that the latter is the one who will win the war between them.

You guys who believe, God of War 3 or Dante's Inferno? Do you think Dante's Inferno?

The new Medal of Honor has my blessings

When you relax, comes an onslaught of ads. On the occasion of the Spike TV has released a lot of information: reborn saga "True Crime", we have first pictures of the new creation of 2k "Spec Ops: The Line" and the one I want, that Electronic Arts will to put all eggs in one basket to resurrect my longed Medal of Honor by the front door, to the Call of Duty and Afghanistan.

If the reorganization of Electronic Arts games means fewer but higher quality and originality on my part is more than welcome. It seems that the impressive success of Call of Duty will be emulated by EA judging by the impressive trailer that showed through Gametrailers:

We still figure out how much of marketing is in this video and how much actual game, but you can not deny that if marketing is good. In any case, if EA cancels some mediocre and focuses on the good, has all my blessings.

The Spec Ops also has all the earmarks of revival in response to Call of Duty, but instead of Afghanistan, the action will take place in a devastated Dubai. The guys at 2k are not dedicated specifically to mediocrity, and which presents a very tasty future in terms of "modern warfare" (modern warfare).

PS: By the way, it seems that that Gran Turismo comes in March in Japan and this is not likely to come up before the summer . Yamauchi is my idol. Must be unique in this industry that does not seem to have a firecracker in the ass. Everyone is going fast but him. To me that someone at Sony is already declawed by dealing with this crack.

SMS: FIFA kicks off in Europe as a rocket

Electronic Arts just sent a press release to announce that it has sold 1.7 million units of FIFA 10 in just one week in Europe. The rest of the press release is perfectly dispensable, so the savings to you. It seems that not only Call of Duty man lives !

Some impressions of Colin McRae DIRT 2 and the last FIFA and Ninja Gaiden

Come these days playing several games interesting. First I received the Colin McRae DIRT 2, a series that did not prove that for years and wanted to try, then got the demo of FIFA 10 for PS3 and Xbox 360 to compare and I finally gave Ninga Gaiden Sigma 2.

Colin McRae comparing to last I played, I must say that the series has improved greatly. What most caught my attention is the wide variety of cars and tracks. There are many interesting ideas in the game, as the roll "colegueo", compete in many different places, with fun challenges at every race, challenges, to buying and selling cars ... It reminds me of the TOCA Race Driver and liked me so much time . The graphics and sound are great, have improved.

Among the bad feature for an inexperienced player ideally directly to the difficulty in "important" because otherwise it will be too easy to win. Nor do I think the arcade air (conduction unrealistic) game and it takes long to load from one race to another, repeating ourselves in the same animations over and over mobile home ... Still I recommend it, it's fun and challenging.

If a game I love is the FIFA has this year because they have polished many of things that bothered me in FIFA 09: Make a pass and bounce in your team-mate had not been aware of where the ball super efficient doormen, poles, shots unrealistic ... The FIFA demo has me hooked well, but the Xbox, because this year is also better that version, I guess because it is easier to program than PlayStation 3. This year the jellies are harder to get and so far I have not caught the hang of faults, but Ribery and Xavi put me out of 2 in the two. I started playing, as with Colin at the highest level ... I look forward to catch the final version.

Finally I reached the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. So far I've only gotten started, but it seems a very promising game, very similar to Ninja Blade I enjoyed earlier this year. Is typical of pounding buttons and cover with very pretty cinematic. I'll tell you more details later ...

Weekend in good company with Batman and the demo of FIFA 10

This week I walked bundled with a thousand themes, but always takes a while to play, especially if there are video games and on the streets as Batman Arkam Asylum, and downloadable demos like FIFA 10.
The truth is he did not expect the new Batman video game was so good. I would back that came from Eidos and there was a superhero in it, but I got the collector's edition and, given that triumphed in many "reviews", I have started to play and I was surprised. What I'm liking is the script, at the height of any good movie, and that little by little you earn powerful "gadgets" of Batman that enhance gameplay that otherwise would become too repetitive and heavy. Did not try the last of Wolverine, who said it was pretty good, but I do not exceed this Batman Arkam Asylum, to me, is the best video game based on a superhero to date.

batman

I told you I was testing the beta of PES 2010, and it seemed like a good game, but after downloading the demo for FIFA 2010 the verdict can only be one: FIFA has no rival. From what I've seen, the errors have been properly polished, especially the issue of shots on goal, which brought me down the street from bitterness. It's not so easy to remove the ball, there are plenty of cool new animations, players charge better, goalkeepers are more realistic ... It is a joy. I can not wait!

Dead Space finish

I've finally finished Dead Space on PS3 and now I've decided to start the Prince of Persia, which I hope will soon end as soon start with the new Batman, which, it seems, is a marvel. Wanted to say a few brief strokes of Dead Space, but very brief, I am still on vacation:
- Vale each costing 19.95 euros.
- Great atmosphere, but decreases as the game progresses.
- The script is good, but can give more of themselves. The end is cool. We'll see what lies ahead for the second delivery insurance are already doing.
- Handsome the issue of fighting in zero gravity.
- Weapons and enemies are not bad. As always, more variety would have been nice.
- Among the bad feature that gets a bit repetitive, but little else. It's a great game.

Impressions of a "fifero" of a lifetime with the beta of PES 2010

Just before I left for vacation I had a moment to enjoy the beta of PES 2010. Before going on, I want to say a couple of previous premises from which we started:

1 - I've always been of FIFA, even when it was much worse than the PES. You can flagelarme in the comments ...

2 - It is public knowledge that my relationship with Konami Spain is not as good as it should, but I appreciate that I have sent the beta beta this year to evaluate it. Try to be as objective as possible, because I can not not want to trick users and especially those involved in the section "most talkative" (in the first column on the right) and on the other hand, regardless of everything, I try to always be professional.

3 - I also want to make clear that I have not seen FIFA 10 for the day of the presentation I was sick and the guys at EA still have not sent me any trial version, so I compare it with FIFA 09 game that I know more than good .

I think I played enough to give you some hints. As always, you can find items much bigger and probably better written or Vandal Meri. We thus:

The general impression was good, but for a player so used to the top FIFA players seem to "weigh" a little, because the parties in the saga of EA are more dynamic. This and graphics, somewhat below the FIFA also make you initially get defensive with the game, but with a little patience you realize that the secret of PES is the gameplay. That's where many integers PES wins compared to FIFA 09, but from what I've seen the new version much improved, especially in this regard.

A major problem with FIFA 09 were shots on goal. It is not easy to score a goal in FIFA if you're a bit pressed for a defense, the ball was on the posts too and rebound did not have much realism without having had to say three Our Fathers to score a goal from distance. In PES I like the shooting system primarily because players plugged well throwing the ball if it comes or not very safe as long as they are not hard pressed by the defense. Scoring in FIFA 09 in those conditions was impossible.

The ball physics has always been the great strength of PES and in this game is too. The rebounds, both players and the posts, I look very good, though it would improve the animations of the defenses that block the shots, they should acknowledge the force of the ball, and the controls with his chest facing, which are I think the worst.

The sound is great. I like the sound the ball to throw, posts, hobbies, and above all, the players cry when they "axes" behind ... In the beta version of the commenters did not get one, but chalked it is not a finished version (although commercial versions also put his paw then a great time ...) By the way, watch out because the arbitrators are still very cardholders. A half bad entry at ground level and your home.

The reaction has greatly improved goalkeepers. In the PES seem not to have slept in that aspect and can be viewed punt fists to get the ball over the bar when the balls are very pumped, for example. This I know that have been refined so much the guys at EA in the new FIFA.

One of the great failures of FIFA is to protect the ball was not easy and taking the ball was as easy as pushing a button and the player would take the ball to the opposite without requiring more help from the user. In PES 2010 snatch the ball does not seem so easy, something I appreciated. You can hide the ball better and the game does not become a constant running streets.

Not only the goalkeepers have improved in their animations, the players also. There are some curious entries when you are strong and in some specific moments, not many there remains that old frustration because you can not control your player until just the corresponding animation.

The "smileys" players are very well made and are in the locker room and repetitions, but then in the field I had the feeling that everyone runs and are quite similar. I can not explain it, it's just a feeling.

In general artificial intelligence has not seemed wrong. Is quite noticeable to play for Scotland to do so, for example, Portugal. Yes I have seen blunders in the opposing defense, but I do not think the game is a constant, but rather the result of the low level of the opposing team combined with the difficulty level. Good note also in this section from what I've seen.

Another major problem is that FIFA will make it more simulation, more PES in other words, they went too far and too difficult one on one and overcome the defense. With good passes in PES seems easier to braid moves and passes the hole seems more effective and results in less offsides in the FIFA 09. I hope that this problem also resolved in FIFA 10.

I have not had time for more on these 2 days I've been playing. After my vacation I will try to extend data with things I have not tested as the zone defense, announced the new 360 degree dribbling, etc.

Why not throw anything decent at the gates of the holidays?

I can think of these days that there is nothing in the latest releases that motivates me and so I'm looking in the trunk of memories of the best games for the holidays to play something decent. Specifically, although placed at the head I'm playing Call of Juarez 2, in fact I am giving to Dead Space and I think soon I'll get to the last Prince of Persia.

I talk to more people and they all agree: There is nothing decent to put in their console with a few exceptions, such as Wii Sports Resort if you like this kind of games, and Fight Night Round 4.

dead-space2

Dead Space: So good that EA does not seem

Why not get anything remarkable at the gates of the holidays? It is clear that many more Christmas gifts are made, sold about 70% of the year, but in July we received the extra time we have all the world to enjoy the intensive day and holidays with a laptop.

I do not mean to fall a shower of big games before the summer, but I do think that given the drought of good pitches, at least one or two could take the upper hand, take advantage of the gap. Then focus all at the end of November and we have no money to buy even half of those we love.

Update: Just after writing this article, I read that the president of EA, Riccitiello says that made the mistake of grouping "too many pitches in the third quarter (October-December)." "Really, we have designed a plan to take advantage of the fact that the year has twelve months. We think we can do better spreading the launch of our key titles. " ( The rest of Riccitiello's statements )

The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 we get out of hand

The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is getting out of hand, as the issue of MC . First edition of the Prestige with night vision goggles for 140 euros and now come with the regular edition, the lifetime could cost 80 euros. I guess this is a trial balloon to gauge the opinion of the players. I've checked forums and comments and are unanimous: They buy it Kotick , if not Rita .

Activision employees fending off angry users

It does not seem to get that with the current economic climate and with other companies like Electronic Arts or Ubisoft lowering prices all they can, now go with them. Anyway, one things is that the Call of Duty is a highly anticipated game and other users to raise pay 10 euros. Seventy euros is already a considerable amount for the times.

The Sims desbancan the best-selling Pokemon in June

I see Adese that the Sims have been able to unseat the powerful Pokemon in the list of bestsellers according to GFK June. The "exergames" or exercise video games are up thanks to Wii Fit, which still fit, and the new EA Sports Active.

To see the tops of platforms just go to the website of ADES .
