This weekend I was in San Juan beach with friends and we near the department stores of Toys 'R' Us to take a look at their products.
We all know that is not a department store specializing in games, but have a section dedicated to it (quite low by the way). It just has a variety of games on Xbox360 or PS3, however there are more games and even Wii or NDS, PS2, Game Cube or Xbox.
My surprise was finding two games, NBA Live 2003 and 2004 , for Xbox and GameCube, respectively, at the same price they had on the day of its release for over 7 years.
We all know that Toys 'R' Us makes your business with toys and will not compete in the market for video games with other retailers like Game or Gamestop (specialists in video games), but could catch up to other centers such as Media Markt, Carrefour ... who are slowly becoming hollow, and are considered as an alternative to the gamers when buying a video game.
I leave you with photos of the two games, when I saw him I did not believe, or have we gone mad, or is being revalued the classic NBA Live ...

Nintendo platforms are complicated. Nintendo managed as one their own world, making the games more suitable for children and the casual audience, but is unable to attract the market "hardcore" (the most played) a Wii or Nintendo DS. A while criticizing the attitude of Nintendo of abandoning those who maintained their faith in the company in time for Game Cube , now I must say that there are laudable attempts to win back their fans more demanding, but these come only from third parties (third parties) and are not working as expected.
The editors were on the Wii and Nintendo DS a huge untapped market gap. The theory was clear: the largest park in consoles + audience demanded more elaborate games + good reviews + good marketing = sales success. No, friends. Mardworld has sold only 66,000 copies in the United States with a fleet of almost 23 million consoles . With House of the Dead: Overkill has spent three-quarters of the same. Something has gone wrong, but ... what?
I think that if Nintendo wants to fish, you should wet your ass with games for adults. Nobody makes games like these, but not only Miyamoto fans live. They need a Kojima . But what is affecting my humble opinion is the high level of piracy of Nintendo platforms. Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars is the clearest example: after obtaining the best reviews of that platform has sold less than 90,000 units in the U.S. in March .
The next stop for hardcore is "The Conduit". ¿So that Madworld will run better?

Yesterday I read a story in which the vice president of Nintendo of America claimed that production had stopped GameCube, which presumed dead platform game that a few months after receiving the anticipated game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess . Well, Nintendo Europe now denies the story and ensures that production is ongoing. Which is it?

- Nintendo GameCube will continue to support .
