Kratos, the God of Publi III

Last week, specifically Monday, March 15, was in Alicante and called my attention to see the capital entirely papered "Kratos" . "Heaven is hell," "Do your revenge," "An eye for an eye" could be read in most shelters and bus stops. All billboards shone like the following:

Awnings GOD OF WAR

Everyone knows that God of War III has raised much attention, being one of the most anticipated video games and more reserves has reached a figure of 35000 units, you just need a week to sneak into the No. 1 top sales and remember this month is a unique game is a platform like PlayStation 3.

But the advertising campaign conducted by Sony , has not been there a few months in most centers, Media Markt and even on the web, featured a countdown of the days, hours, minutes and seconds remaining until they come out the video game market. Also on sites like youtube and many websites filled us with banner ads with the imminent arrival of the game.

In cities such as Madrid and Barcelona many LED screens announcing his departure, and even a "Kratos" flesh and blood (yes, you heard right) walked freely through the city, the metro, shops, ...

Curious was the campaign that have taken place in Italy, coinciding with the elections, you could see election posters in the streets calling for the vote to "Kratos", also as part of marketing.

Few games have reached a level so great as to advertising campaign is concerned. While recently watched the Final Fantasy XIII bus , particularly I do not remember another game that apart from his trailer on TV, has announced an incredible way in our country.

Like a film premiere it were, the in-game advertising is taking this direction, papering entire cities with their posters, with trailers and TV websites, presentations and previews in the big cities ...

It is clear that the video game market is growing and is becoming increasingly larger, and companies tend to adapt to the times, and hence Sony has made an excellent campaign with this God of War III.

¿You had been envisioned for years, see a huge poster of Super Mario Bros in your city shelters announcing his arrival on the NES? Those were different times ...

Dante's Inferno vs God of War III

Today I was playing the demo of Dante's Inferno . For those who may know what is an action game in the purest style God of War . Such is the resemblance that many media call it a technically be a copy modeled on moves, combos, creatures, settings ...

Dante's Inferno is based on the first part of The Divine Comedy of Dante Alighieri. The player controls Dante, a veteran of the Third Crusade trying to reach his beloved Beatrice and free his soul from Lucifer. His search leads Dante to deal with monstrous creatures through the nine circles of hell in order to save Beatrice, also facing their own sins and crimes of war.

Honestly my opinion about this game is pretty good, I amazed me the demo, the game is technically exquisite creatures with some scenarios and graphically very good, with very crude animations and gameplay very affordable and easy to control. Another of the strengths I see in this Dante's Inferno is that is cross platform and can enjoy both boxers as sonyers.

The game was developed by Visceral Games within the Electronic Arts studios (creators include the successful Dead Space ) and will go on sale February 12 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PSP. A month later, specifically on March 16, will be released the highly anticipated God of War 3 PlayStation 3 exclusive and truly believe that the latter is the one who will win the war between them.

You guys who believe, God of War 3 or Dante's Inferno? Do you think Dante's Inferno?

Post-holiday depression

The previous two weeks I've been on vacation for Galicia and Portugal. I think not repeat due to some bad weather, but if you're lucky with Galicia is a great place with good food and fresh water beaches best. The only good thing is bad weather had allowed me to finish my God of War 2 for PSP and start reading Clash of Kings (All thanks to Jorge B that has been so nice to lend both).

The God of War 2 I liked it despite its short duration and that gets a bit repetitive. The graphics are truly spectacular and truly hooked by a good story. Greek mythology has always liked me. I think you can do many good games taking ideas borrowed from the ancient Greeks. The God of War PSP makes me eager wait that is in preparation for PS3. It can be brutal. All other games that I took for PSP did not reach the height of the shoe, so the game lasted me 3 days and then just used the console for music.

On the other hand, during my absence, Jerry Yang has won by a landslide the shareholders of Yahoo! . There has been much criticism and has admitted that the Icahn access the board. Microsoft seems to have given up. Withdrew the offer, but you never know ...

Barrage of ads for PSP: God of War, TOCA 3, The Warriors ...

It is clear that Sony is not going to leave his handheld to his fate. Although Nintendo DS is tenienedo much success, keep coming to PSP quality games. And much of what is worth: TOCA 3, Manhunt 2, The Warriors, Godzilla, God of War ...

In my view, a priori the most interesting is God of War. No word yet much of the project. Only the team manager of development is the same as completed Daxter interesting. Right now Sony is more engrossed in promoting God of War 2 for PS2 that give details of this project.

Sports games, and including driving (type simulation) are my favorites. The TOCA series is for me one of the most beloved. So I probably will not miss out on 16 February TOCA 3 for PSP. The variety and the script of these games I've always liked.

Manhunt 2 has been the big announcement of the week. Not only will PSP and will surely be a bit more of the same (action, stealth and blood pouring) with better graphics and a script more carefully. I leave the video below.

Finally, for fall announced a PSP version of a game based on Godzilla. Godzilla: Unleashed comes on the heels of Atari. I do not think that is the game of our lives ...

Take Two has been the most active announcements this week. I leave you with videos of the new Manhunt 2 and The Warriors for PSP.
