The PSP2 is called PSP 3G and we know the first details

I read on Kotaku that has leaked that Sony is indeed working on a new PSP which approach would be very similar to the iPhone 3G. The leak would have made a Producer of Sony America at this time should already be pointing in the lists of American INEM.

As told, the new model will be called PSP 3G and will have touch screen (good!), Bluetooth, a QWERTY keyboard, larger than the Iphone and have finally released the failed UMD. Emulating the iPhone, you can download games from the PlayStation Network Store and tell the full support of Sony Ericsson. The device, in an advanced state of development, would be launched in Japan and the U.S. in late April 2009 (The latter is what I chirps).

The first source whence came the rumor, http://playstation.blogsite.org/ , and deleted statements by the Producer of Sony, so we are only echoes, rumors and voices from beyond the grave ... :-)

As stated Txema in Kotaku on Monday begins the GDC 09 and major announcements are expected.

More rumors that Sony is working on the PSPhone

I read in 20 minutes that there are strong rumors that Sony is indeed working on a new PSP version also include mobile phone features. Sony, which ultimately does not give a (the last fiscal year lost three billion dollars due to the PlayStation 3 loader), try to relaunch its handheld console in the wake of the success of Apple's iPhone, which incidentally comes on July 11 our country exclusively with Movistar.

The funny thing about this whole story is that Sony will be developing outside Sony Ericsson, which itself would have had access to the Walkman brand for its products, but would not have gotten eventually join and work on the project of PlayStation.

For my part I had a time the PSP, but ended up selling it for lack of use. At home game to home consoles, I read way to work, and work will not let me play while I devote to it. Nor do I travel too much and when I do travel are lightning in that I have not had time to enjoy the PSP. Neither the film nor its accessories have attracted me too. Although I was very excited when he left her, has been the typical gadget I bought and I have not used just end. He really needed innovations.

Apple cares more for games

Some time ago I told you that EA, among other companies, was developing games for the iPod sold in iTunes, the online music store from Apple. It seems that something is working because Apple has now registered at the patent office a new portable device for playing games.

Given the number of iPods (and iPhones) that have sold out a new gaming device makes little sense. So given a new device for making innovative game design and gameplay. Are sufficiently "crazy" for it, but what makes more sense is a return on their existing machines, rather than create new ones in a market dominated (not sure if saturated) for Nintendo DS and PSP.

Half a million iPhones sold in one week

Posted by in Apple , iPhone , Video , Video Games

Hallucinate to see that Apple has managed to put half a million iPhones in the U.S. in a weekend. It is a very high figure, but the truth is that the iPhone is an excellent machine. It is a great music player, photos, videos, telephone and, of course, games, although it also has its drawbacks.

With its high-quality touch screen (no buttons) you can do many things ... I think it's a great device for gaming. In addition there are 2 models, a 4 GB and an 8. It is large enough for big games.

In Spain, Telefónica is rumored to be the one going to take the upper hand at the end of the year. I was thinking about switch to Vodafone or any other company to get a better phone, but so I hope to see. I will not commit for 18 months if within a few I want the iPhone. Course, if not do well the conversion of euro-dollars, not adquirié at first. I did not like being ripped off by Sony with the PlayStation 3, I refuse to be ripped off Apple also.

The guys at EA are already heavily entrenched in mobile games and even the iPod, so it's no wonder they are the first to offer games for the highly anticipated Apple phone.

The famous casual games company, PopCap Games, which recently hired the creator of Xbox Live, also has the iPhone in its sights.
