A few strokes of the games I have tested these days

Sometimes it happens that I do not even reach the crooks and other times I get a flood of video games, so many I can not try them all. Now I'm at the stage of too many games, so little time, but even so this week I tried a few. For detailed analysis already have other websites. I'll give you just a few strokes and I'll give the new banzaestrellas (ranging from 1 to five), because I am against the notes: They produce many misunderstandings ...

Uncharted 2 Beta: The folks at Sony have sent me a code and I could download the beta of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. I am very "hypeado" with this game and I enjoyed a while the multiplayer, which is not revolutionary, but it seems the perfect complement to the spectacular single player mode, it'll be a blast judging by the videos that Sony has released. Rating: ** (2/5)

VidZone: I also downloaded and tested VidZone, the new music video service streaming. It's like having a personalized music channel quality and the latest videos for free. I thought the typical service is good but I do not think you will use much. Like at a party or to put background music can do well, but I do not wear it. Rating: ** (2/5)

SBK 09: The video game of the Superbike motorcycles this year I liked a lot. It is playable from the start and even if you have little idea of flying or driving games. Then you raise the difficulty to find your limits and compete in superbike paths with our pilots as Czech or Lavilla Xaus. I still think the car games are more comfortable, since you only have to worry about slow enough and speed, while the bikes that do the lying conditions the racing line, which must be optimized for maximum speed dating. The game is very good and very funny and not sorely missing the MotoGP license, as the superbike riders are also known: Biaggi, Haga ... The single player mode is fun if you like learning you compete and the paths. In the box you want to make changes to the bike and test them in the qualifying sessions easily. Anyway, I found a highly recommended game. Enjoy it as I have done for a couple of weeks. Rating: *** (3/5)

Velvet Assassin: The stealth action title from Replay Studios with a lovely and lethal agent protagonist fighting against Nazi oppression has stopped half way, being a little benevolent. It boils down to a good idea poorly executed, all too common in this video game. The game has problems in many sections, with the unforgivable artificial intelligence. Is a want and I can not where, if I have to highlight something, I would highlight the good level design and the play of light in the bunker. It is a title that has frustrated me a lot, because the idea is good and I been looking forward to that execution was a little better for having played integer * (1/5)

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings: Last week I attended the presentation at the American Museum of this video game for Wii. Indy games are usually quality assurance, and this game has good intentions but imprecise Wii control it fully ballasted. After completing the tutorial I started with the second phase of the game and see what Indiana could do, the game got me hooked. Okay all you can do with the whip and the environment, disarm enemies, etc, but it's a game called Wii Motion Plus out loud. Rating: ** (2/5)

Guitar Hero Metallica: Finally I tried the new Guitar Hero Metallica for Wii. I really wanted to play the great songs of the legendary group. I started in mid-level first (for me the highest level is unaffordable) and had fun from minute 1. Are all clasicazos, along with many other artists. Among the worst of this Guitar Hero Metallica's songs often have a long life, are complicated and it takes its toll on the wrist which is responsible for the buttons. The rest is much improved from the Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock, which is the last one had tried. Great fun and recommended. With this I am "a thorn" Rating: **** (4/5)

I have in the room games like Let's Tap and Virtua Tennis 2009 for Wii, among others. And just to improve my internet connection and now I win almost every game of FIFA 09. It is unfortunate that win or lose depends critically on the speed of ADSL, but it is.

Google and games

Google's interest in games is becoming more evident. If long been known that they were working on systems to integrate contextual advertising in video games, are now actively promoting the inclusion of games in your own search engine, presumably to increase retention and the number of users.

If you type "games", you wont find a sponsored link from Google itself that invites you to add online games.

If you click it, you go to a new page where you can choose from 6 games. By accepting, all the games you loaded in a new tab that appears when you enter igoogle.

The only "problem" that I appreciate is the game of Pacman, a freeware game created by Paul Neave. In case you do not know the history of Pacman Neave, the comment you. The author himself had to remove this game on your page because the creator of Pacman, Namco, and demanded it. It is clear that he had violated patents and copyrights. The problem is that this game is still there, because it was freely available (the author only asked in return will send you the link) and at the end has come not only Google, but also in other places like Meristation or El País .

Update: Juan Mellado, of Inmensia, I made a comment comentándome another game that you can add what he has planned.

The horrible logo Caprabo

Posted by in Blog , Nonsense , pacman , video games

After Article brainy Halo 3 comes the nonsense of the day. Do not you think the logo of a horrific Pacman Caprabo prehistoric saber-toothed? What does eating a "pirulas" red? Who invented it? Is it a plagiarism of Pacman? Or the logo was created before the comebolas yellow?

Reading around I see that is in the top "Logos horrible and evil deeds" of Microserfs. The truth is that I always thought it was a horrible Pacman, but I can understand that there are people who have not fallen and think it a puzzle or something. I found an explanation of the logo a little sense: The Pacman is Caprabo C with three points because Caprabo was made up three partners.

For those who do not know it, Pacman was created By mid 70's. Its creator was eating a slice of pizza and suddenly saw it. The pizza that was left could be a video game icon!

One in four employees play at work

I already sensed and popcap.com study has shown. One in four employees play at work. 24% of the "Curritos" have confessed that play instead of making things more challenging during the workday, but the "big fish, are even worse. Of these, the percentage rises to 35%, or about one in 3. All these players are called casual players, and like to take a quick game of Tetris games or Pacman to unwind and improve concentration and visual acuity.

Conclusion: Three times you see your boss watching your computer screen with the face of thinking, one of those times is plotting how to remove the pieces of Mahjong or how to end your sudoku . And watch out, because your boss is their right to think the same about you one in four times ...

The perfect getaway

Posted by in pacman , tetris , video games

The years do not go through classics like Pacman or Tetris. I'm still reading news out there and make new discoveries about two games are already a myth. Last I saw, in Microserfs, who collect the news of this blog , is that some people have got the perfect game pacman. By all accounts, there were those who managed to finish all 256 levels of play and eat every ball, every fruit and all the ghosts he could to get 3,333,360 points.

The only proven record is held by an American, Bily Mitchell, who completed Pacman in just over 6 hours.

Tetris is the last I heard they did a study and had been scientifically proven that they can never fit the pieces so that the game comes to an end. It is impossible to completely leave the screen clean of chips, so there is no point limit as the Pacman.

Maybe you can get the perfect getaway? In Tetris you've got complicated. The Pacman awaits you!
