In the last batch of Sega games that I have received (Universe at War, SEGA Superstars Tennis, Viking ...) the one I was hooked Condemned 2 was a creation of Monolith, makers of games like FEAR. Condemned 2 is very in line with FEAR without being a pure first person shooter, although there are shootings, but mostly with a dark atmosphere and a story fantastically unreal, dreamlike and very bloody. The control is also quite simple and not very difficult to enjoy and overcome the most difficult moments of the adventure thanks to the constant autosaves which makes the game.
In the game something has happened and people have gone mad. Violence has dominated them and chaos reigns in the city. One of your tasks will be to eliminate a number of devices located throughout the city have something to do with the situation of madness of people. Amid all this chaos is Ethan Thomas, who attends a series of murders, betrayals ... The adventure is not only to hit shots or stir with wood with nails, also arrive at crime scenes and other situations in which we investigate and provide the right information to Rosa, our great ally in the agency.
The game features all kinds of combos, combining your fists and legs, and you can get all kinds of objects to fan the thugs, including toilet lids, bricks, bowls, pipes ...
For me the best is definitely the atmosphere. The torch is essential and luckily not use batteries ... At the end you get missions and some improvements such as rubber soles allow you to also go unnoticed and infiltrate. It is therefore a game that takes things to a lot of genres.
The most legendary moments have been suffering hallucinations when she gets a brain scan to Ethan and then escape through the snow cabin ...
The game is not short. I encourage you to try. I have created anxiety occasional evening playing with the lights turned off and totally focused. The sound helps a lot to it, with constant blows, groans, laughter irritating ... Anyway, I highly recommend it as long as minors do not be, because there are things pretty much gore and beasts.
Amazed by the statements of Ben Ward, head of the community of Bizarre Creations, which says its new video game, The Club, is not well understood. People expected (and thus have been suggested in several videos showing the history of the characters), a shooter with a good script and found an arcade shooting game where you compete for high score.
Ward says the objective is to "compete with friends for the highest score possible and show your skills as you do. It is something that is quite unique in the genre of the action right now, and something we really believe. "
In my opinion these are tantrums of someone who finds that his game is not selling as expected. If people have not understood the game, you have not been reported (or not done marketing) either. In any case it would be because of Bizarre, famous for Project Gotham Racing 4, and SEGA, the distributor, not the users, right?
Yesterday I received a new shipment of new games. Of them all, and after a brief passage through a gym that never went more than 5 years, I decided to try the new Turok. His business card was dead, dinosaurs and the promise of artificial intelligence (AI) outstanding.
After playing the first hour at the normal level (the next is difficult and the maximum is inhuman) I must say I was disappointed the game. The AI enemies are very rough and even have more brains even dinosaurs. The other major fault is the textures and certain parts of the scenarios that seem really convincing, do not fit well together. Finally, I will restart the game in Hard Mode to see if anything improves ...
Update: Finally I have spent most of the weekend playing Devil May Cry 4, which is certainly much better game.
Strolling Joystiq impressive I've seen this video, which shows clearly what the Crysis engine is capable of. I also share your comment: "This really is good publicity and not those videos of tits."
I lasted three days the new Blacksite, the new creation of Midway distributed in Spain by Virgin Play. It was fun, the story is good, is very entertaining and not too difficult except in some specific points. Not a "must have", but it is good buy for fans of shooters made with the unreal engine, but for lovers of pure, hard shots, without any orders to the team or covered, ie a shooter to the old way.
The variety of missions has been great (sniper, armor, on foot, machine guns, helicopters ...) and the voice acting is great and includes some iconic phrases from your peers who are taken to scorn what is happening. The graphics are great, along with the sets, which do not interact as well as they should. Good graphics help bring realism at times mythical as the "octopus" over the bridge to be folded in a helicopter that has been hit and runs rough.
The story is good, with some good twists and well-defined characters have much to hide and that they release the information in minimal amounts when circumstances so require. The only downside is that a little more or less where you smell the shots will go from the beginning, but that does not mean that there are no surprises later.
The worst of the game are its faults, more than evident. It seems that the game would have needed a few more months to polish it development, but they have got at Christmas. Sometimes you send your team open up a door and stay frozen, or the game is locked. The "bug" is funnier when one of your teammates falls from the helicopter several times and then is still there ... This should improve it.
In short, funny, a good story, not very long nor difficult. A game to enjoy. Will be in stores Nov. 23. I played the Xbox 360 version. You can download the demo and try it.
Lost Planet playing me realize how bad I am still with the shooter console controls. y algún que otro Medal of Honor voy a caigo a las primeras de cambio en Lost Planet contra el primer monstruo que me sale al paso. After finish my Gears of War, Halo 2 and some other Medal of Honor going to fall at the first hurdle in Lost Planet against the first monster that jumps out at me. I still do not get used either the levers of controls, still missing a mouse in their hands. Although have been released some peripherals that solve my problem, the reviews I have read are quite negative, so I decided to persevere.
Have you tried to play a shooter on the PSP? What about the Nintendo DS? I spent some time testing the Medal of Honor Heroes for PSP. The system was to use the lever to move and the cross button to aim ... I confirmed that the PSP can graphically with a shooter but not from the standpoint playable. On the opposite side is the Nintendo DS, a blast from the point of view Playable using the stylus to aim, but not very good the graphics. I for one think that the gameplay comes first, so I leave my preferences clear.
He had long beta Bullet Witch, but had not had time (or really wanted, it must be said) to play it. This is a shooter with a beautiful heroine, huge weapon and magic powers witch. . The intro of the game is fine, you look forward to playing for a while, but then the game does not come anywhere near the height of shooters like Gears of War or Lost Planet. The most attractive of the game are the spells and monsters, but the game offers little more in my opinion.
Bullet Witch will be available in March for Xbox 360 for 59.99 euros, with texts in Castilian. It is for more than 16 years.
