Silent Hill. The film. Do not waste time and try to see the games.

Yesterday I went to see Silent Hill with the hope of seeing the first movie on a decent game and I can say it was a complete and genuine disappointment.

The first detail, a "product placement" in google when searching for information online Silent Hill, and some negative reviews I had commented on the film totally dogged my predisposition to enjoy it. Still I held until the end because I do not like leaving anything by half.

Finally, the script is almost ridiculous, with an explanation of 5 minutes at the end to explain the inexplicable. The nods to the game are pretty good, especially the scene of the nurses, but never felt like I feel the game: in a nightmare, an unbreathable atmosphere.

The truth is that lately my films do not get me create the same emotional effects that some games. And now, with high definition, industry walks with firm step in this direction. The day a video game makes you feel more experiences, emotions, or achieve that you identify with the characters better than a movie, the industry will have taken a big step forward.

In this regard I recommend you see the short "The casting" game "Heavy Rain" that was introduced with considerable success in the past E3:
