Pirates of the Caribbean Is a copy of Monkey Island?
That's at least ensuring the creator of "The Secret of Monkey Island", Ron Gilbert, and I think not without reason.
The only really original movie for my taste is the characterization Johnny Depp. Not that Disney has deliberately copied the game, because in fact the film is based on a popular attraction of the park, but the similarities are fairly obvious. The most striking is the resemblance with Captain Barbossa LeChuck.

dog and the sparrow is huesto when in jail? same thing happens to Guybrush in Monkey Island 2.
is blatant.
The movie only lacks the competition of insults and grog. hehe
Man given that Monkey is inspired by the Disney attraction (even in monkey 3 shows a center of attractions and others in clear homage) is like now in peace, P
I also think that all fans enjoy as dwarf monkey with both films to find similarities with Monkey (the second would have been a real bummer but for that xD)
The Monkey Island is inspired by the famous Disney attraction, and indeed who has passed the Monkey Island 2 will see how Ron Gilbert made clear.
Now, after appearing the games, yes there are amazing things in movies that are suspiciously similar to some scenes of games or puzzles. Just miss the legendary Stan.
All copying of all, is a blatant reality. Anyway, the scene of the dog, is something that exists in the attraction of several pirates trying to reclaim the dog because it has the keys in his mouth. Of course, for when I went to see the attraction Monkey Island was out, but I doubt that in 91 or 92, the game had great weight in the world XD
But ... what makes it even more blatant plagiarism of the movie to the game is ...
The map used in Pirates 3 is the same as the key roulette to play monkey 1. had to be matched with a pirate hat and then put the date of the island that showed us one of the windows ... I think there clearly shows who copied from whom ... hehehe
The most blatant ecena is when they go through the swamp in search of the witch is just like what I remember of the monkey
