I was something of curiosity to try the game for PS3 Ghostbusters, to see if it really was as good as I painted. I terminarme career with the average level of difficulty and you and I can discuss my impressions.

Where you go, Ghostbusters!

We have only had to wait 25 years to get our hands on a video game that is almost an interactive movie that falls short of the myth. It has a full license, with all the protagonists of the film with a great new script written by Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd and the voices of them all. The story is pretty good, but the fact that it is in English with subtitles into Castilian the tarnishing enough. In any case we have to all characters with all the personality, humor and irony intact. All but right except the issue of dubbing in this regard.

The graphics meet, stand the character models and animations, while the atmospheres are generally good. The faults are mostly found in the gameplay. Ghostbusters as a whole is fun, not too short, but as the game is very arcade.

I mean, do not have to take shelter, or cover and dodge punches or anything. The "crux" of the matter is to fire the weapon like a fish to show you the game is the weakness of the ghost in question and revive your teammates in fall, because Ghostbusters never die and can be revived indefinitely by another member of team. Thus, if reanimes and keep up to other team members, they will come to you automatically revive you when you fall. The difficulty is therefore quite low. It is a game made for the enjoyment of fans, freaks for large unpretentious.

Not bad, the variety in weapons, although you can make do really well with the beam lifetime and the pitcher of mucus. You can get through the game using only these two, the others are not really necessary. All of them can be improved by collecting the money will go to destroy the monsters, but this upgrade system is not a strategic challenge or a decision that will influence the development of adventure. Only you just buy the item that you can afford at the time when you play and tell the story ended.

Who you gonna call?

Finally, if you undress game accessory and leave it bare, not very remarkable. It's fun to catch ghosts in the boxes at first, but ultimately the gameplay is always the same and ends up being repetitive, a set of jack, knight and king. There are no puzzles or other item to give more variety to the game. Everything about the gameplay (new story, decent graphics, sound, film, etc.) is quite outstanding, highly recommended for big fans of Ghostbusters, one of the icons of the 80, and is what can make this game worth the money.

In short, locks of one of the best video games based on film, although it is not difficult given the widespread trash type Terminator Salvation is released, but has many gaps and shortcomings in the gameplay, which is the key to any game and to weigh down completely.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game is now available for PS3 (version I discussed broadly here) and PS2 and is scheduled to hit PSP in autumn 2009.
