What you will not read Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 anywhere else ...

... Mostly because mine are mental straws, nothing else ... hehe. Well, since you've gone through and manipulative tabloid headline tell you: I will not do the typical review-roll. As always there are other sites that they will do better than me, as Vandal , but I would like to discuss two issues that I think are of vital importance about Modern Warfare 2, the new major release in the history of entertainment: the way campaign loses again much bellows versus multiplayer and the issue of violence in the game.

How handsome am with my new glasses! :-)

I do not know you, but I after receiving a game of this caliber, the first thing I do is get to play alone and enjoy the campaign mode. All right (action, spectacle, good script, sound, ambience ...) unless you just as soon as a popcorn movie in Hollywood and in the end one wonders whether it has become the single player mode just that, a flashy movie playable . One gets the feeling that Infinity Ward has focused once more on the multiplayer mode, improving the campaign mode, but I tend clear that the important thing is the other.

It is increasingly clear that the importance of video games is going to online gambling, a mode in which you can switch off Microsoft if it detects that you're hacking the console, and Sony is ready to collect soon. When you lose money on each console sold and not sold enough games to return on large investments, it seems that online and multiplayer mode is the new holy grail. But is it fair to pay around 60 euros for a campaign mode that lasts a few hours and play the rest, the multiplayer mode, you have to checkout? Did not pay enough?

The single player experience is enlarged slightly with so-called special operations, which are quite entertaining mini-missions, but many are only available for multiplayer.

The truth is that the multiplayer mode is most entertaining, full of great scenes, constantly improving thanks to your achievements, aids in the game thanks to the number of victims you produce ... until you reach 25 and can activate the nuclear bomb that erases map all and makes you win the game. Someday I will get the bomb! I swear!

Then there is the airport scene in which we are part of the bad and provoke a slaughter at an airport. In my opinion, this scene may be necessary for the normal course of history, but it was not necessary is to play. As a player and gives us nothing and contribute nothing in the scene, because although not perform a single shot, the rest of the group made the slaughter of itself and we will just go with them. No choice, no moral dilemma.

In my humble opinion, could have briefly shown killing with some kinematic and let us begin the mission after the incident. The rationale was that the developer wanted to identify ourselves with evil Makarov group, but as I have explained, this effect is not achieved. I guess the scene is there really to argue, as a cry of Infinity Ward's creative freedom, but I thought it was a great idea, because the game did not need this controversy to be a bestseller and children that surely will not miss this game should not "enjoy" these scenes.

I say goodbye and wishing to be launched, but a new edition of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, the third party. The two were fucking great.

I'm playing now with a couple of games to online, and the feeling that the campaign happens all too quickly, and with intent to get rid of it sooner rather than later, no one defends it xD.
Yes, the online mode so little I've played it seems to be entertaining.

It could be a little more carefully worked the campaign mode, which we told in the first modern warfare.

Totally agree with the analysis. Yes, the airport scene played and murdered the innocent civilians and police as they come!
Incredibly, I wanted to go to Gatwick to do the same in real life, is that I did with the ultra-pro-pack of Call of Duty that will melt your brain and leaves you like cheese fondue ...
