Cooking with Nintendo DS
I've never been much of Nintendo, even when I was a dwarf. Yes I got hooked on Tetris Game Boy, but little else. I've never really been very attached to their games and I have it now. Spectrum and Amstrad went and then I went directly to the PS One Right now the only thing that attracts me is its not Nintendo DS games, those who called their marketing department "Touch Generations", and do not believe that everyone deserves punishment ...
After a good hooked with Brain Training and the occasional walk with the dogs in Nintendogs at the time, now I bought the "Cooking What to eat? ". I was very curious to see how it would be the game. Finally I think it is very instructive. My first attempt has ended in this:
The non-game, or whatever you want to call it, is fine, it tells you step by step what you have to do, listing the ingredients, you do not think you are very well measured, making a good preparation before the fire and While guiding you through the process. You can always go back and consult again the ingredients, the stuff you'll need, etc.. It even includes explanations "for dummies" just do not know what simmer or quick or as good a garlic peeling ...
Voice recognition would be much more useful if it worked differently, since it responds to any noise you make in the kitchen, playing even sometimes you want to continue or go back. It is really useful if your hands are stained, but should have improved somewhat.
There are many recipes, but they are all over the world, so that in Spain there are around 15, and also things get a little Japanese-style ... Wisely put options are notes (even a little roll going letter by letter typing on the touch screen) and add the recipe to favorites. The voice of the chef to guide us for the recipe is also clear, crisp and very explanatory, is another of the great successes of the cartridge.

I am the guinea pig testing this first recipe made with the "kitchen with me" and I say that although the dish is not at all of my favorites, was very good! Congratulations Chef!
Anyway I've taken a look at the game and some recipes are not successful, such as being told to throw 10 eggs to make an omelette for 4 people!
In short, in my opinion goes as recipe books, may be helpful but better to be guided by common sense to follow it exactly! Better touch master chef
