PlayStation Home is delayed because they have lost focus on the players
What should I get first a means of communication: Hearing or benefits? I am a journalist and I can assure you that if you build an audience you will not sell a damn advertising unless deceive advertisers and Chinese (which may work once or twice, no more). All this I loose because it relates to a statement by David Reeves, president of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, I just read about the delay in consolas.es PlayStation Home (the kind of Second Life that Sony prepares PS3):

"We realized that maybe very ambitious PlayStation Home was not aimed at applications in Home players, how to get sponsors and stuff like that. In that sense, we forget about the players. Therefore, we have focused on launching the games in Home, attracting people to play first, and then attract Nike or Adidas, something not required to play. "
Do not forget the players, in the case of a console, or the hearing in the case of a medium. We must not lose focus. You have to work on what customers want and then when the audience is built, attracting advertiser. The benefits are vital, but the audience comes first. If you do the opposite, it is bread today and hunger tomorrow, is not the right strategy.
