A few hours on the PlayStation Suite

Posted by at 20:28 in ps3 launch , PS3 , Sony , video games

As I announced on Friday, today I've come to the Playstation Suite, a place that has enabled Sony to journalists and customers come to PlayStation 3 and the new Blu-ray. The site is very well decorated, with a youthful and fun. This is a floor that have enabled a meeting room, a screening room to watch movies in high definition, a few rooms to play PS3 and finally a service decorated with the bathtub full of rubber ducks ( ducks that have their own game , as I told you days ago).

The guys at Last Lap, the communication agency of Sony, we have treated like a charm. We have shown Virtua Fighter 5, Formula One Championship Edition, MotorStorm, Virtua Tennis, Resistance: Fall of Man, Lair and Ridge Racer 7.

Car Video games are the most longed to try because I am quite a fan of simulation games. The Motorstorm I found very funny. They are crazy races where clashes are the order of the day. There are jumps, many obstacles, music sugarcane, several areas in which vehicles behave differently and, above all, very good graphics, very detailed.

The Formula One also I have found graphically impressive, but I have not enjoyed it because I had all the driving aids turned off and I like all I can. Obviously, Fernando Alonso is Renault in that game. A pity we can not change or monkey playing with Pedro de la Rosa, another crack.

The Ridge Racer 7 I found too great in terms of graphics, but totally disappointing as far as gameplay is concerned. For my taste this kind of games are very funny. All curves are skidding in a rather unusual.

The one I was surprised Lair. It is the only one which maximized the Sixaxis motion sensor (the PS3 controller), the only need to push a button to launch a flash of fire of your dragon. The motion sensor works like a charm and I found it very funny. After completing a tutorial released in battle in order to bring down large dragons and other enemies. At the end is the most I've played.

The Resistance: Fall of Man had seen it so I've missed only a couple of games. Not the "Gears of War" of the PS3, but it's okay to be a launch game.

I can only comment on the Sega games, a brand whose games do not attract me much. Both Virtua Fighter and Tennis, were very impressive also the graphics, where the PS3 is very powerful with the Sony Bravia screens they had in the Suite. The Virtua Fighter we could not just play, but looks great, while at the Tennis've been playing doubles for a while and it was fun, although the game is very arcade.
