Wii sells a lot and plays little
My last poll question was whether it is true that the Wii is purchased then used a lot but little else, which is what happens to me. Most (7) have voted to have just bought and played, perhaps due to lack of games so far, or because they have other more powerful console they prefer to play. Games very little or quite another 6 voters say while playing every single day have been 4.
After accusations of lack of catalog, Nintendo has produced a good offense this Christmas thanks to games already on the street like Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and others who are about to appear as Mario and Sonic at the Olympics Olympics. What appears is that there is not much beyond these major releases of Nintendo themselves.

I think your survey is faulty, is that most Wii players (or so I believe) are often called "casuals", so I doubt enter blogs that analyze games seriously, and people usually visit very fond of the scene.
I would be very interesting if you could do the survey at a shopping mall, for example, to see if things turn much or little.
A greeting!
You're right. This is not scientific, but are the results that have come and they stand by me
